Yes, there is an initial physical assessment. After you have booked your first personal training session through your new MindBody account, Neely will email you to set up an over the phone consultation call. During the consultation call, you two will discuss what you are interested in working on, your current fitness level, and any pains or injuries that you may have that needs to be taken into consideration.
Your first in-studio session will be created based on what you discussed over the phone.
The exercises given will be focused on seeing how you move through foundational movements, mobility, posture, alignment, and any injuries discussed. This assessment will help Neely to determine what should be prioritized and how to structure your workout program.
The results of the initial assessment, along with how many days per week you will train together, will be considered while creating your personalized workout program.
